A child's sock dropped in the gap between two cobbles and left where it fell. The orange cuff is the only strong colour in several square metres of grey granite.

Shot straight down, so there is no horizon and nothing to give scale but the stones themselves. Almost the whole frame is texture and repetition, and then one small soft thing that does not belong in it.
