A block of glacier ice grounded on black volcanic sand, lit from inside by whatever light gets through the cloud. The blue is real — it is what happens to ice compressed for long enough that all the air is squeezed out.

The coldest and most graphic frame in the series: bright translucent blue against near-black sand, with nothing else competing.
